The new Cala Janculla climbing guide is now available on ClimbAdvisor.

This small and scenic seaside crag is located along the Costa Viola, in Calabria, in an unspoiled environment accessible only by boat, with a short 5-minute navigation from the harbour of Bagnara Calabra.
The walls rise directly above a hidden beach, offering a spectacular setting with views over the Strait of Messina.

The rock is compact granite, rare – and possibly unique – for sport climbing in Southern Italy.
The existing routes are entry level, with bolting designed for sport climbing, making this crag ideal for relaxed climbing in a remarkable natural setting.
More routes are planned, as the LaCruX team is still actively developing the area.
